Every day, more than 3,400 tonnes of food waste is sent to landfills in Hong Kong, while more than one million people live in poverty, struggling to afford nutritious meals.
Feeding Hong Kong is an NGO focused on rescuing food before it’s wasted and collecting food donations for local charity partners. It has since saved more than 4,900 tonnes of food, which was distributed to more than 150 charities, alongside with food donations of more than 470 companies.
The Goodman Foundation supported Feeding Hong Kong during the tough pandemic period through the donation of logistics space and face masks to assist communities in need.
A donation has also been made to Feeding Hong Kong in conjunction with the 'Share for Good’ crowd donation platform, initiated by New World Development Company Limited to assist vulnerable people in our community.
